The Vine That Ate The South

I have recently become interested in book making and book binding, and this is the first handmade book I have ever made completely from scratch. It was a graduation present for a friend of mine. Most of the content is written by me, although some of it was taken from old conversations I had had with her. It's titled The Vine That Ate The South, which is somewhat of an inside joke between me, her, and another friend. It's three signatures with a coptic stitch binding, and is approximately 5.5" x 5". All of the illustrations were hand drawn by me after printing the text. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out, and I learned a lot, so hopefully the next one I bind with a coptic stitch will be even better!
