I was recently asked to do a portrait of one of the leaders at my company, which seemed like the perfect motivation to get back into some artwork. What I didn't count on was how much pressure I would feel to do a good job! I tried a more graphic style at first, but it came off feeling too impersonal and a bit generic. So this is attempt number 2. Still not entirely if it's got the right feel for what they were looking for (and it's not quite what I had in my head), but it felt good to get back into the swing of things.
EDIT: I recently learned that Procreate can export videos of your drawing process, which is so cool! Adding one now to show how the lines and colored pencil pieces came together.
